Leaving home only to find out the battery bar on your phone is red or just wanting to chat on BBM/Whatsapp to a special friend or family member and then realizing your phone is almost dead. Quite frustrating right? Here are 4 tips on how you can get your Android phone to charge faster!
The first tip is pretty straight-forward and self explanatory – Turning off the device while charging it!
You may not be notified of messages or your alarm but if you’re against time, this is your best bet!
The second tip depends on your preferences altogether – Switching off unnecessary features!
Having features constantly switched on such as Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, NFC etc. will drain your battery really fast. If you’re not using them switch it off and only have it on when you really need to use it. Having the auto update feature for your apps also causes quite a bit of strain to the battery life.
The third tip deals with your charger – Use the original charger!
Even though Android devices may have universal chargers, not all chargers provide the same output and be very careful of that if you choose to use a charger that hasn’t been provided to you with your Android Device.
The last tip – Switching your device to Airplane Mode!
Enabling airplane mode on your device to will speed up charging. If wondering how or why? It’s simple, airplane mode blocks any wireless radios on your device, which means you won’t receive any calls, messages or have internet access etc, but in the end it will be worth it as you’ll now have device that will still be on for the next few hours!
