Samsung has just thrown shade on the iPhone X in an advert that roasts Apple’s smartphone range.

The video which is titled ‘Growing Up’, pokes fun at the features and specs of the iPhone which has fallen short from Samsung’s Galaxy range through the last ten years.

The Samsung advert starts off by showing the original iPhone launch in 2007 with an excited owner telling his friends, “guess what I just got?”

However, through the years, the iPhone owner experiences frustration at the lack of upgradeable storage, the dangers of water damage, and the removal of the headphone jack on the iPhone 7.

The advert also then goes to show off Samsung’s ahead-of-the-curve approach to large-screen smartphones, stylus note-taking, and wireless charging.

At the end of the video we see the iPhone owner shelving his Apple handset in exchange for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, with the advert declaring Note to be an ‘upgrade’ from the iPhone.

The funniest part, or we could say the real dig is when the man is shown walking past a line of people queueing up for the new iPhone X. If you look closely, one guy in the queue spots a haircut shaped like the iPhone X’s infamous notch!
