The VS Gaming e-Football Tournament qualifiers kick off today, as a build up to the final tournament which takes place on 05 – 06 May 2018 at Monte Casino.
After the success of last year’s event, which was the largest on the continent and the second largest in the world, VS Gaming is bringing it back for a second year. Like 2017, there will be 1,024 players taking part but this year players can choose whether they want to compete on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. There will be a grand prize winner on each platform.
“We expect the tournament to garner even more interest from e-football enthusiasts as VS Gaming works to blend the long-standing football-loving culture in Africa, with its ambition to pave the way for gaming in Africa,” says Wanda Mkhize, spokesperson for VS Gaming.
