Leading the list of the most downloaded free iPhone apps in 2024 is Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire, a platform known for its heavily discounted consumer goods. Following closely are Shein, a popular fast-fashion app, and Threads, Meta’s social media platform designed to rival Elon Musk’s X (formerly Twitter). Other notable mentions include Vinted, a marketplace for buying and selling preloved items, and ChatGPT, the AI chatbot sensation.
For games, Block Blast!, a Tetris-inspired block puzzle, tops the charts, with MONOPOLY GO! and Roblox following closely behind.
In the paid apps category, Heads Up! and Papa’s Freezeria To Go! have emerged as the most downloaded. These premium titles require a one-time purchase to access all content, offering a fully immersive experience without in-app purchases.
Apple Arcade continues to attract gamers with its ad-free, premium gaming experiences. This year’s popular titles include Cooking Mama: Cuisine! and Thank Goodness You’re Here!.
