BET Software has opened applications for its annual “Dare to Dream” bursary, offering financial support to South African students pursuing ICT-related qualifications at registered higher education institutions. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet all of these requirements:

  • South African citizenship
  • Completion of Matric
  • Admission to or registration for a full-time ICT-related qualification at a recognised South African higher learning institution
  • Minimum overall average of 65% for the current year of study
  • Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply and must submit proof of disability where applicable

What the Bursary Covers

Recipients will receive:

  • Tuition fees and registration costs for one academic year (other expenses payable by the student)
  • Opportunity to participate in BET-hosted skill development workshops and events
  • Fast-track entry into the BET Software Graduate Programme upon graduation, with a work-back agreement equivalent to funding received

Application Requirements & Process

  1. Visit the BET Software bursary portal and complete the online application form.
  2. Submit certified copies of:
    • South African ID document
    • Matric certificate (first-year applicants)
    • Letter of acceptance and detailed fee quotation from your higher education institution
    • Statement of account and fee quotation (returning students)
    • Academic transcripts for the past 12 months (returning students)

    • Proof of disability (if applicable)
