Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all of these requirements:
- South African citizenship
- Completion of Matric
- Admission to or registration for a full-time ICT-related qualification at a recognised South African higher learning institution
- Minimum overall average of 65% for the current year of study
- Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply and must submit proof of disability where applicable
What the Bursary Covers
Recipients will receive:
- Tuition fees and registration costs for one academic year (other expenses payable by the student)
- Opportunity to participate in BET-hosted skill development workshops and events
- Fast-track entry into the BET Software Graduate Programme upon graduation, with a work-back agreement equivalent to funding received

- South African ID document

- Letter of acceptance and detailed fee quotation from your higher education institution
- Statement of account and fee quotation (returning students)
- Academic transcripts for the past 12 months (returning students)
- Letter of motivation explaining why you deserve the bursary
- Proof of disability (if applicable)
- Review your application for completeness and submit before the closing date.
