Ster-Kinekor Theatres in partnership with Prezence and Nokia are proud to announce a new addition to the Windows Phone store, the Ster-Kinekor movies and entertainment app.
The popular, award-winning app enables people to view movie trailers, book tickets, access entertainment news and much more. In addition, the app uses an entirely new user interface specifically redesigned for Windows Phone, including an array of features such as having its own dedicated live tile.
“The user experience of the app was designed with input from Windows’ design team hence it will seamlessly evoke the clean, flat, minimalistic look endemic to Windows Phone. In terms of new features, this new app will also be fully integrated into the Windows Phone operating system and will soon have Live Tile capabilities,” said Lynette Hundermark, Apps Business Director for Prezence. “In addition to the general sense that a new and refreshed UI was needed, the growing popularity of the Windows Phone platform made it perfect for the latest iteration of the app,” added Hundemark.
