Former assassin and a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Gamora is also the interest of the leader of the Guardians, Star-Lord. Gamora is complex, she is stoic, distant, caring and proficient. Although she got off to a rocky start with the other Guardians, particularly Drax the Destroyer, Gamora did eventually grow to respect her teammates and started to see them as her friends and even family. Nebula is the adopted sister of Gamora and served as the right-hand woman of Ronan the Accuser during his and Thanos’ quest to retrieve the Orb. Known for her superhuman strength and cybernetic enhancements Nebula has agility greater than that of a human being. She can easily keep up with Gamora in any fight. Both Gamora and Nebula were trained since childhood to be assassins while being pitted against each other. In a twist throughout Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, we see Nebula, despite her claims of hating her sister and her actions against her, showing signs that she does care for Gamora.
