Even though Samsung may not have announced any Android 4.4.4 KitKat update plans for its Galaxy smartphones, a roadmap seems to have surfaced online in regards to the the official announcement from the company.
According to this leaked document, the KTU84P update (Android 4.4.4) for the following devices are listed as completed while the ETA (estimated time of arrival) suggests that it will be sometime in October:
- Galaxy S5 (SM-G900I and SM-G900F)
- Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900)
- Galaxy Note 3 LTE (SM-N9005)
The leaked roadmap also claims that the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 LTE, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo smartphones is in final testing with a roll-out scheduled for November.
Other devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy S4 Mini Duos, Galaxy Grand 2, Galaxy Grand 2 Duos, Galaxy Note II, and Galaxy Note 2 LTE are listed as pending. Pending actually means that work on the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update is still in progress. However, the purported listing notes an expected roll-out time of November for these phones.
