Huawei has posted a teaser photo of the next flagship that will join the brand’s lineup of Leica-branded dual camera smartphones. The Huawei Mate 10 can be seen alongside the P9, Mate 9, and P10 smartphones, all of which come with dual rear cameras. The teaser also indicates that the Mate 10 will be unveiled on the 16 October 2017.
Huawei shows us that the Mate 10 will be following the same setup as the Mate 9 of having vertical setup on the back near the centre.
On the teaser, you may have also noticed the tagline associated with the Mate 10 – #beyondthegalaxy – which looks to be throwing shade on Samsung’s recent flagships. The Huawei Mate 10 is also set to sport a bezel-less display that it terms as ‘EntireView’ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, going head-to-head with the likes of the LG G6, Samsung Galaxy S8, and the upcoming iPhone 8.
According to Huawei CEO, the Mate 10 is also tipped tofeature facial recognition, support AR and 3D sensing, which will make it compete directly against Apple’s upcoming tenth anniversary iPhone.
