There’s new feature that will be arriving on Instagram soon… and you’re going to love it!
Instagram is currently testing out a new feature on the Android app that will allow you to share multiple photos from your smartphone’s gallery as an album on the photo-sharing network.
At the moment, only advertisers are able to share multiple photos from their gallery which gives users the ability to swipe through horizontally, however, with this test it looks like the feature will be adding smiles on the faces of 600 million Instagrammers very soon.
So how does it work?
- Up to 10 Images can be uploaded at once
- Each image can have a different filter added to it
- Followers will see the album and can then slide through the various shots, liking photos as they go
Due to testing purposes, only a limited amount of users can see the feature on Instagram v10.7.0 for Android, the latest version of the app that’s available from Google Play. Some users have already reported that they are seeing the feature in the beta version of the Android app. There’s no word yet as to when the feature will arrive on iOS devices.
