Rihanna, born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, performed in SA back in 2006, opening for Jay-Z back when she was still an up and coming young starlet.

Today Rihanna is one of the biggest names in pop, with 30 million albums and 120 million singles sold worldwide. In 2012, Forbes ranked her as the fourth most powerful celebrity of 2012 with earnings of $53 million between May 2011 and May 2012. The same year, TIME magazine named Rihanna one of the most influential people in the world.

Her latest album Unapologetic features the hits Diamonds, Stay and the controversial Nobody’s Business, a duet with on-again boyfriend Chris Brown about their relationship which was reignited after Brown’s infamous assault on Rihanna in 2009.
