Vodacom, South Africa’s premier mobile network provider, has announced updates to its contract prices and data plans, effective from 1 March 2025. This annual adjustment comes in response to inflation and rising operational costs, ensuring the continued delivery of quality services.
Key Updates:
- RED Integrated Plans: An average price increase of 4.5%, accompanied by additional data benefits.
- Home Internet Plans: Prices will increase by an average of 4.5%, with no changes to device fees, insurance fees, SMS and MMS rates, and out-of-bundle data rates.
- Grace Periods: Customers who signed up in January will receive a one-month grace period, while those who joined between February and 7 March will enjoy a two-month grace period.
Vodacom is committed to maintaining competitive pricing while absorbing additional costs to keep certain fees unchanged. The price adjustments will apply to various plans, including RED VIP, Flexi postpaid plans, and family deals.
