Samsung’s next flagship series to be launched in 2020 may not be called the Galaxy S11 series after all… Many mobile manufacturers have gone in a set route and Samsung may just follow suit. Huawei launched the Honor 20 as the successor of the Honor 10, and Huawei P10 successor was the Huawei P20. This means that Samsung could also bring the Samsung Galaxy S20 as the successor of the Samsung Galaxy S10!
If this is actually true then Samsung will reportedly launch the Samsung Galaxy S20, Samsung Galaxy S20+, and Samsung Galaxy S20e devices in a few months from now. This also brings good synchronization in the branding considering the year will be 2020. However, in 2021, if Samsung were to follow the other mobile manufacturers, then it should launch the Samsung Galaxy S30, and not the Samsung Galaxy S21.
If Samsung were to take this leap, we could also be expecting huge improvements from the predecessor. At this moment in time, nothing is confirmed and Samsung is yet to make any announcements regarding this matter.
Samsung is expected to host an ‘Unpacked’ event to launch the next-gen Galaxy S series in February next year. Also, if these leaks are true, then the Galaxy Note series may also see the numerical jump, and the next-gen Galaxy Note phone may also be called Galaxy Note 20. Samsung likes to keep uniform numbers for the two series.
