Creativity mixed with innovation… That’s how you summarize the Moto Z series! A brilliant modular design that supports different Moto Mod accessories. And now, Lenovo’s Moto brand has partnered with Polaroid to expand the existing concept by adding a photo printer module called the Insta-Share Printer Mod.
Polaroid’s Insta-Share Printer Mod allowsyou to capture your memories through your Moto Z smartphone and then print them instantly, without having to rely on third-party hardware. The Mod can also print your images directly from Facebook, Instagram and Google Photos. The Mod is also capable of printing 2×3-inch smudge-proof photos with customizable filters, boarders, and text.
All you need to do is snap the Insta-Share Printer Mod to your Moto Z and then click the physical button to launch the camera. Once you’ve locked your objects in the frame, the module is ready to take their prints.
The new Moto Mod will be available for purchase later this week through Verizon with a price tag of $199.99 (approximately R3 000) and is set to arrive globally in the next few months.
The Mod supports also allows Polaroid Premium Zink Zero-Ink Paper that can be stuck as a sticker using the adhesive sheet on its back. You will receive a few sample sheets with the module, however you will need to pay $20 (roughly R300) for getting a pack of 50 sheets.

The Mod adds another 20.4mm of thickness to your device, whilst enhancing its weight by 188 grams. The Mod also features a 500mAh battery that can last for 20 prints.
