Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Spotted On The Website of Samsung South Africa

It looks like the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has received an official support page on the Samsung South Africa website. This latest development indicates the upcoming Galaxy Note handset with model number SM-N960U. This being the exact same model that has recently been spotted on Geekbench. The benchmark listing of the smartphone confirmed the presence of a Snapdragon 845 SoC, with the global model expected to feature an Exynos 9810 SoC.

The Samsung South Africa page shows the handset under the SM-N960U model number, where the U at the end can safely be considered with a Snapdragon 845 SoC. It is safe to say, considering the historical records, that the Exynos-powered Galaxy Note 9 will come with a model number featuring “F” or “F / DS” at the end.

It’s also worth noting that the official support page doesn’t detail any specifications or features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. However, the listing on the Geekbench site confirmed that the handset has a Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM, and runs Android 8.1 Oreo.

Previous rumours also claim that the Galaxy Note 9 will be launched on a date sooner than expected and will feature the same 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display that had debuted on the Galaxy Note 8 last year.
