MTN and CliffCentral.com have joined forces via WeChat to make streaming Gareth Cliff’s new “unhinged and uncensored” radio show free of data charges for MTN Internet Services customers.
MTN launched four innovative Internet Services last week that allow subscribers to explore, chat and social network at discounted rates, with price points set at R15, R19, R29 and R39.
The MTN Internet Services also include special data rates for the world’s leading all-in-one mobile social app, WeChat. It is through CliffCentral’s WeChat Official Account (OA) that MTN subscribers will be able to tune in and stream his show free of charge.
Gareth Cliff says, “This next step with MTN and WeChat is a really exciting part of our CliffCentral venture as we’ll be able to make our unradio experience even more accessible.”

Streaming the show via WeChat is just of the things CliffCentral OA subscribers will be able to do with video and voice clips from the CliffCentral team, daily polls, vouchers and chat groups being some of the other features CliffCentral and WeChat have on offer.
