While the device is very likely to launch next year, another device known as the Galaxy S6 Edge will be launching alongside the Galaxy S6. At the moment there isn’t any confirmation on what exactly this device will boast but there is a speculation that it will sport one-sided curved screen, reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.

The Galaxy S6 is also set to be built from scratch and preliminary specifications off the device are tipped to include a QHD (1440×2560 pixels) resolution panel (size unspecified); a Sony IMX240 camera sensor, the same used in Galaxy Note 4; a 16-megapixel or 20-megapixel rear camera; a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and inbuilt storage variants of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.

The Galaxy S6 is also said to be powered by 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 processor (four Cortex-A53 and four Cortex-A57 cores), while another variant featuring a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor is expected.
