Bounties, chasers and cryptic clues. Mystery has gripped KwaZulu-Natal as people across the province race to decode clues and track down The Fugitive for a chance of winning cash. East Coast Radio has teamed up with Vodacom and Samsung to bring “the world’s greatest radio promotion “to KZN offering listeners and digital audiences the chance to win R400 000 in cash and Samsung devices valued at R100 000.

The campaign kicked off last week on 15 August 2016 with more than R100 000 won in the first week by intrepid bounty-hunters who tracked down the East Coast Radio Fugitive by working out what the on-air and social media clues meant.
So far, “Fugi” as presenters and listeners affectionately refer to the character, has made appearances in Durban, Pietermaritzburg and the south coast. It’s anyone’s guess where he/she will be next.
As KZN attempts to unmask this lovable rogue, Fugie continues to try and give everyone the run-around, complete with his/her now trademark cheekiness, sneakiness and tongue-in-cheek humour, posting photo and video clues on social media.
The Fugitive is an award-winning concept that has successfully stirred up excitement and adrenalin in more than 40 countries around the world. The promotion wraps up on East Coast Radio on 2 September 2016.
