Microsoft is reportedly working on a new “Game Mode” feature for Windows 10 that will enhance the gaming experience of PC users. The new feature will arrive with the Creators Update later this year, however, some elements have already begun rolling out to Windows Insider Preview users.
Microsoft is also set to release “Arena” on Xbox Live, where you will be able to play in organised tournaments as well as create your own, making eSports accessible for everyone.
Last year, Microsoft had acquired Beam which is a live streaming video platform that is primarily focused and engaged on video gaming. Beam will connect to your Xbox Live account, allowing the streaming of your favourite games to become much easier to your Xbox Live community.
Will you need extra software? Not at all… And the great thing about this is that viewers anywhere will be able to watch your streams as well as interact with your broadcast!
