How To Search On Google Without Data

The latest featured to be added onto the Google app for Android is ‘offline search’ which enables users to save searches for later, perhaps due to a poor data connection. Searches can now be stored on Google when you are offline and shows the results once a connection is established again.

For instance, just say you are unable to look up something on Google due to low connectivity. You will either see the page not being loaded at all or just the loading screen that keeps progressing and feels as if its never going to end. The new offline search feature is here to prevent this and will now store the search query in a new section called Manage Searches. The last query will then be searched automatically by the Google app, as soon as you get back online.

So how does this work?

The app will now work behind-the-scenes to detect when a connection is available again and deliver your search results once completed. You will then receive a notification telling you that your search result is ready, and the results will then be displayed in the app.

This feature is found only in the latest v6.9.37 of the Google app, and can be downloaded from the Google Play.
