To celebrate Acer’s global #MakeYourMark campaign, the local Acer team paired their latest products with inspirational South Africans to help tell the Acer story of how their devices have helped them #MakeYourMark.
The campaign aims at connecting consumers to the innovative, cutting edge and beautifully designed stable of premium Acer devices – but within their own environments, using their own meaningful, social language and through their individual characters that tell their passionate stories.
“Today’s 18-39-year old’s have ambitious dreams and the determination to fulfil them. They are inspired by aspiration, live authentically and do so in a beautifully sculpted way – whether this be visually or vocally, and Acer wants to be the brand the delivers on its user’s potential.” Says Belinda Marais, Marketing Manager from Acer.
Acer has partnered with local South Africans who exert confidence in their fields to give the #MakeYourMark campaign some local flavour. “Combining such diverse individuals from different backgrounds gives the campaign a bespoke flare,” adds Marais. Influencers include Instagram sensation Alexi Portokallis for photography; stylist Kefilwe Mabote as the lifestyle influencer, Tuelo Nguyuza as the fashion influencer; actress and business owner Donnalee Roberts as the entrepreneur; SA Idols presenter and music mogal ProVerb, as the professional influencer; and lastly Basil Frank aka Red Tie Guy as the developer and gaming developer.
