Acer today unveiled the CB342CKC and CB282K monitors, two new high specification range of 4K monitors for prosumers who aspire to colour accuracy and visual sharpness, blur-free images and a professional-looking ergonomic design.
In-Plane Switching ZeroFrame in 4K for professional sharpness and clarity
The colour accuracy and visual sharpness of those Acer CB2 monitors is due to the latest display technology. The In-Plane Switching ZeroFrame monitors display images and colors with 4K and HDR 10 capability. ZeroFrame design virtually removes the display bounding box to give seamless visuals and the sharp 4K UHD display is 16:9 up to 3840X2160 high resolution, four times higher than Full HD displays.
Vesa DisplayHDR 400 for realistic image and color creation
Vesa DisplayHDR creates deeper levels of black and white contrast, giving a greater immersion through realistic image recreation. Brighter scenes glimmer with detail, while in darker scenes, details typically hidden in the shadows are enhanced for greater overall luminance, showing colors as they truly are.
Radeon FreeSync and 1ms VRB for smoother, blur-free gameplay
With Radeon FreeSync, the game’s frame rate is determined by the graphics card, not the fixed refresh rate of the monitor, which eliminates screen tearing and delivers very smooth gaming experiences. Acer CB342CKC monitor also features 1ms Visual Response Boost (VRB), which results in much clearer and less noticeable blur in fast moving images.
Three-in-one connection to make life easy and professional, ergonomic design
The Acer CB342CKC monitor makes life simpler with a USB 3.1 Type-C port that plugs into smartphones, tablets or laptops, providing the display, data transfer and device charging all at the same time with a single cable.
With a firm, stainless steel base, monitors can easily tilt, pivot and swivel to make height adjustments at a moment’s notice. A quick-release design means the monitor can be separated from its stand so it can be VESA wall-mounted. Both Acer CB2 monitors also feature Acer Display Widget utility software. The split screen feature is able to divide the screen into several regions. Users can quickly split the window with a hot key or via split screen setting menu, making the work space as clean and efficient as possible.
Comfort and protection
The Acer CB2 monitor series has a 178°wide-viewing angle feature which displays colours perfectly at every angle and all monitors come with Acer VisionCare encompassing Flickerless, BlueLightShield, ComfyView and low-dimming technologies to enhance viewing comfort over long periods and minimize eye fatigue.
Pricing and Availability
The Acer CB342CKC monitor will be available in EMEA in May starting at €549,00, while the CB282K monitor will be available in April starting at €399,00.
