Three ALCATEL ONETOUCH fans spent their Sunday morning on 2 August enjoying a VIP experience at The Social Market at Hatfield Plaza in Pretoria. The Social Market is a gathering of artists of all genres and types, and a hotbed of creativity.
The fans were selected as the official ALCATEL ONETOUCH trend spotters after they won a social media competition. They spent the day spotting the coolest people rocking the hottest trends at The Social Market and using an ALCATEL ONETOUCH smartphone for the day shared the pics and vids on social media. They also needed to rally people at event to vote for them on Twitter as the best trend spotter of the day. The winning trend spotter, Sinalo MK, received an ALCATEL ONETOUCH smartphone, a limited edition pair of Nike Sneakers as well as a R500 fashion voucher.
The trend spotters also got to design their very own ALCATEL ONETOUCH inspired t-shirt using the Snaptee app and find a buyer for the t-shirt.
Another highlight of the day was an Undiscovered Talent segment, hosted by ALCATEL ONETOUCH. This platform gave undiscovered artists an opportunity to display their talents courtesy. To be a part of the segment, prospective bands had to send a short video of their band performing via social media to the trend spotters. The chosen band was treated to a VIP experience.
