Dedicated LinkedIn App Arrives For Windows 10

A dedicated LinkedIn app for Windows 10 users is currently rolling out on Windows Store in a recent announcement made by Microsoft. This app will bring a much more integrated experience, with more accessibility directly from the Start menu and taskbar, real-time notifications, and so much more. This app is rolling out gradually to the Windows Store, and should arrive latest by end of this month to all LinkedIn markets.

Notably, This announcement has been made more than six months after Microsoft sealed the acquisition deal of LinkedIn for $26 billion.

What can you expect with this new app?

Basically, you will now be given easier access to LinkedIn services on your Windows 10 PC. Bringing real-time notifications to the Action Center and also allowing you the privilege of pinning a live tile to the Start Menu. Notifications on new messages, insights on who you’re meeting with next, trending news in your industry, and timely updates on your network will be sent to you, however these can be managed or disabled if you require. You will also be able to manage which updates you’d like to receive in the Action Center directly from the Notifications tab inside the app.
