KZN Science Centre – Africa Code Week

Are you ready for some coding fun? Learn how to create animations like dancing animals or work out how some of your favourite computer games are made with The KZN Science Centre and SAP during Africa Code Week 2015.

Why is coding important? We live in the information technology age where people of all ages interact with digital equipment of some kind in their daily lives. During Africa Code Week, the KZN Science Centre team will be holding exciting and creative coding workshops for learners and members of the public during the holiday period in October. These exciting and innovative workshops will utilize the Scratch coding software that is suitable for all ages and computing capacities.

Everyone will be provided with the opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge of coding under the supervision of our dynamic team. We will also be enlightening learners about the amazing careers and possibilities that are available in the world of Computer Science and Information Technology.

The KZN Science Centre team hopes to see you and your family at one of our Africa Code Week events between 6 and 10 October 2015.

You can catch them at the following Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) Centre’s from 9am until 12 noon:
