The Samsung Power Sharing Cable enables users to transfer and charge other Micro-USB supporting devices. Some of the Galaxy devices that the new cable will be compatible with are: Galaxy S5, Galaxy Tab S 10.5, Galaxy Tab S 8.4, Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy Avant, and Galaxy Note 4.

The Power Sharing Cable will cost you around R230,00. Along with the Power Sharing Cable itself, users would also have to download the dedicated Galaxy-only Power Sharing app from Google Play. This app will allow users to select the amount of power they want to transfer from their Galaxy device to the Micro-USB compatible device. Once this has been selected, the user can proceed to connect one end of the cable to their Galaxy device and the other end to the device which needs to be charged.

Please note that even without the app being installed, Galaxy devices would still be able to transfer charge!
