As you may have already witnessed, the Volkswagen Cross Polo being the upgraded version of the standard Polo with better interior, rugged exterior add-ons and features including roof rails. The offroad kit which is boasted gave it a bit of an SUV stance, however, was never sold as an actual offroad vehicle. It was powered by a diesel 1.4-litre four-cylinder engine with 77 kW and 250 Nm, giving it reasonable fuel efficiency.

But with a new surprise arriving from Volkswagen, could this mean the end of the Cross Polo?

It now appears that the Cross Polo badge may just be falling away in favour of Volkswagen’s AllTrack badging. These pictures of this Volkswagen Polo indicates a chunkier body kit as well as AllTrack badging.

Very little is known about the car at this point in time…
