We’ve finally managed to get our hands on the RC60 Powerbank thanks to the awesome guys at RED-E! Considering it’s the largest in its range thus far, packing 6,000mAh – Here is what we have to say about the unit…

I decided to give the RC60 Powerbank the ultimate test straight from Day 1 by trying to charge up my completely stone-dead device (Sony Xperia Z3 Compact). This device has a Li-Ion 2600 mAh battery. It charged fully relatively fast, within a couple hours – just as powerful as the original plug-point charger the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact came with… The RC60 Powerbank managed to give my device 2 completely full charges before it had to be charged up again.

If you have ever run out of battery on your camera, cellphone, laptop, tablet or even your GoPro and been without access to a power source, The Red-E 6,000mAh unit is absolutely ideal especially due to the fact that it has three outputs so you can power or charge three devices at the same time.

In terms of value for money – I would definitely recommend it especially with the load-shedding going on, this is absolutely ideal!

The Red-E range also stocks a 2,000mAh, 4,000mAh powerbank, and 4,500mAh, all varying in size and shape, to fit differing needs. Furthermore, Red-E also stocks a range of high quality, affordable cables, and chargers for any and all of your devices as well as a range of sleek and dependable cellphone, tablet and laptop covers.

The entire Red-E powerbank range is available for purchase at leading retail stores including Cape Union Mart, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Outdoor Warehouse and Incredible Connection, as well as many independent stockists.
