Samsung has announced a significant update for its Galaxy Watch series with the introduction of One UI 8 Watch. This update brings Bedtime Guidance, Vascular Load tracking, and other advanced health features designed to help users build healthier habits.
Samsung’s new Bedtime Guidance feature analyzes sleep data from the past three days to recommend an optimal bedtime. It evaluates sleep pressure and circadian rhythm to suggest a schedule that maximizes alertness the next day.
The Vascular Load feature measures stress on the vascular system during sleep. Users wearing their Galaxy Watch overnight will receive insights into their vascular health, helping them understand how stress, exercise, and sleep impact their body.
Samsung is also introducing a Running Coach feature that provides real-time guidance and personalized training plans. Additionally, the Antioxidant Index measures carotenoid levels to support healthy aging.
With South Africa’s growing focus on digital health and wellness, these new features could be particularly beneficial for users looking to improve their sleep quality, fitness, and overall well-being. The Galaxy Watch Ultra and newer models will support these advanced health tracking tools.
