MTN has recently launched a new promotion offering both prepaid and top-up customers R120 free airtime to use for the rest of that day after they first use a minimum of R6 on their network.
The promotion is only valid for 5 days, it began on 25 July and will be ending on 29 July. In order to activate this promotion, you will need to opt in by dialling *130*500#.
- However, MTN have also announced that the inclusive value on Top Up contracts do not count towards the R6 spend needed.
You will be able to spend the airtime in the following ways:
- MTN-to-MTN calls: R2.00 per minute billed per second
- MTN-to-MTN SMS: R0.50 per message
- Internet (non-roaming): R2.00 per Megabyte
The promotion is set to end at 23:59 on 29 July 2014.
