Apex Legends burst onto the scene as one of the premiere games in the Battle Royale genre in early 2019, and has garnered much success to date as one of the up and coming esports titles.
Predator, the supplier of high-powered gaming desktops, notebooks, and monitors, together with Mettlestate, one of the leading esports authorities in South Africa, will bring gamers the ultimate Apex Legends experience, with an all new Seasonal League as well LAN final towards the end of 2019.
“Esports is quickly turning into one of the biggest industries in the world and it is important for the Predator brand to support the local gaming fraternity and grow the young talent we have in South Africa,” says Belinda Marais, Acer Marketing Manager.
The league is set to have two seasons over the course of the next few months, with registrations open as of 21 June for Season 1. Registrations will be open until 5 July, with the first Season of the league set to kick off on 14 July.
After the conclusion of the two seasons we will move into a LAN final event, which will see 12 of the best Apex Legends teams in the country fight it out on LAN for the ultimate prize!
