This July… The Pav takes a responsible look at Fashion!

The first weekend of most July’s see Durban become the coastal hub of all things fashion… oh and horses.

This year the Vodacom Durban July seems to be able to hold good on that trend. However The Pavilion Shopping Centre has seen it fit to turn things a little on their head so to speak.

Together with partners like Vodacom, KZN Fashion Council– The Pav will be creating avenues for young designers to not only showcase their wares but to also establish themselves in a more sustainable manner with a more keen sense of economic and marketing awareness.  Being a responsible role player within the broader fashion landscape, means that stakeholders like The Pavilion need to assume the role of uplifting those that need the break. And in this particular instance, not only is The Pavilion providing a much needed platform for up and coming designers – they are also ensuring an overall corporate responsibility is being fiercely upheld.  The Pavilion will be hosting a fashion hub from 15 June 2018 – 7 July 2018 where shoppers can select and purchase their outfit for the Durban July.

The Pav however will not only be focusing on the designers; their loyal shoppers will also be treated to a plethora of prizes that are sure to make the Vodacom Durban July that much more fashionable. The Pav will once again not disappoint their loyal shoppers and opportunities to win big are as easy as spending R 1000 or more at any store and standing a chance to win 1 of 4 VIP experiences to the Vodacom Durban July valued at R 10 500.

Julie-Anne Zuma, Marketing Manager for The Pavilion commented, that it is crucial for brands like The Pav to acknowledge and similarly deliver on their responsibility to pay it forward within the realms of the broader retail landscape.

The Pavilion is sure to be leading the pack on CSI efforts that deliver both on corporate responsibility as well as everyday business pressures.
