Twitter on Monday declared a convenient new element for users of its Web interface – desktop notifications for direct messages they receive. The organization independently reported a forthcoming update for its Android app that patches up the Direct Message interface.
Users can decide to activate this feature at twitter.com/messages. The desktop notifications show up on the upper right corner of the program window, demonstrating the sender’s name and a review of the message. After tapping the warning, clients are coordinated to their immediate messages page from where they can read and react.
Twitter is unmistakably attempting to give direct messages some more need, boosting the one-on-one part of the interpersonal organization. The desktop notification rollout comes after Twitter’s declaration from a couple of weeks back that lifted the 140-character cutoff from Direct Messages between clients. Back in April, Twitter made it feasible for users to get direct messages from anybody.
The firm revealed a redesign for iPhone users prior this month. The most recent component brought scene mode support for iPhone 6 Plus users. The application uses the vast 5.5-inch screen and permits users to deal with their Twitter channel when held on a level plane.
