Amazon Web Services (AWS) recently announced the launch of its new service called Amazon Bedrock. It’s a service designed for building and scaling generative AI applications that can generate text, images, audio, and synthetic data in response to prompts.
Bedrock makes it easy for customers to access foundation models (FMs) for generative AI from the top AI startups and Amazon. These models are capable of producing a wide range of outputs, from text to images and more. Bedrock’s serverless experience enables customers to get started quickly, privately customize FMs with their own data, and easily integrate and deploy them into their existing workflows.
Bedrock hosts generative AI models built by AI21 Labs, Anthropic, and Stability AI on its cloud services. AWS customers can use Bedrock to write, build chatbots, summarize text, classify images, and more based on text prompts. With Bedrock, AWS customers can opt to tap into AI models from different providers via an API.
