Apart from the exciting news about backward compatibility for Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One, Microsoft has done it again as they will now allow their users to stream Xbox 360 games to Windows 10 PCs as well!
This has been confirmed in a demo of the Xbox One’s new interface. The users will be able to access streaming when the new features kick in, just a few months from now.
To all those already on the Microsoft’s Preview Program, even better news for you as you would be able to do this right now!
However, Microsoft has also stated the that Xbox 360 titles that needed the original Kinect or any other hardware, such as Guitar Hero will not work on the Xbox One.
Apart from the ability to stream Xbox 360 games to Windows 10, you will also be able to play them in VR via Oculus Rift.
With a large number of Xbox 360 owners looking to upgrade and weighing out the decision between the Xbox One and Playstation 4, Microsoft may have just managed to get the upper-hand by allowing their loyal fans to play their existing games on the Xbox One as well as stream them to Windows 10. Odds seem stacked against Sony with these few features giving Xbox 360 fans every reason to stick to the Microsoft Platform going forward.
